2025 VSO Challenge Application

Voluntary Student Orgs (VSOs) are eligible to sign up for the first ever VSO Fundraising Challenge! This Giving Tuesday, your student org can make a real difference for Michigan—and earn support for your own group at the same time.

The challenge runs December 2–9, 2025 (kicking off on Giving Tuesday) and 25–30 student organizations will take part in this first-ever pilot. Pick a U-M fund that your group is passionate about and fundraise for it all week long by rallying your members, alumni, and friends to make gifts. The orgs that recruit the most donors will win money for their org! Apply here. 

VSO Challenge Prizes:

Overall Donor Competition

• The VSO with the most overall donors will win $2,000

• 2nd place will win $1,500

• The next five will each receive $1,000

Recurring Gift Competition

• The VSO with the most recurring donors will receive $1,500 for their agency fund
