Student Philanthropy's Mission
The U-M Student Philanthropy team works to empower students both as donors and as fundraisers by:
amplifying and supporting students' voices in philanthropy at Michigan to create positive change
preparing student organizations to advocate and fundraise for themselves and provide a positive experience to their supporters
educating students about the impact donors have on their U-M experiences
In doing so, we collectively continue the tradition of generosity and advocacy that spans generations at U-M.

Philanthropy can take many forms. It can be donating or raising funds and resources for nonprofits & other non-governmental organizations that engage in work that contributes to the public good. It can mean volunteering your time or expertise. Mainly, it is being generous to make a positive impact!
